When learning to play the piano, the first thing that we tend to focus on are the major scales. The major scales are very important, but equally as important I feel are the minor scales. The are a great exercise to practice with and will increase your ability to play the piano. The main difference between major and minor scales are the third and sixth note positions on the keyboard. In a major scale we have a half step after the third and the seventh notes while the minor scales have the half step after the second and fifth. Also
